Inspired by the high valley of the Vallée de Joux, the brand-new Hôtel des Horlogers is opening its doors in Le Brassus, where its predecessor, the Hôtel de France, was established in 1857. The building, with its avant-garde architecture, follows the valley’s topography thanks to zigzagging panels that gradually extend into the meadow. This 4-star superior boutique hotel, certified with the Minergie ECO® label, was designed to minimize its environmental footprint as much as possible and to integrate the principle of environmental responsibility into both the construction of the building and its daily operations. The hotel features 50 rooms and suites, all tastefully furnished in a contemporary and understated style. The Hôtel des Horlogers is also an ideal venue for hosting seminars and business events. In the heart of the high valley of the Vallée de Joux, the property’s owner, Audemars Piguet, has created a building where there are no barriers between architecture and nature, allowing harmony to flourish between them. In this fabulous project, peoplefone had the honor of contributing its technology to the telecommunications infrastructure.
Nicolas, how did you choose the telephony provider for your facility?
We opted for a solution that saves us enormous investment costs while guaranteeing optimal quality and meeting the current connectivity needs of our guests and the team at the Hôtel des Horlogers. peoplefone was the ideal provider to meet these requirements.
What were the challenges of this extraordinary project?
There were no particular challenges, except for the fact that we wanted to work with partners who were accessible and responsive and who fully understood the challenges of providing a high-quality telephony solution for a hotel of a certain standard like ours. After several months, how satisfied are you with your peoplefone phone system?
To this day, we are completely satisfied with the quality of the product we chose and the costs charged by peoplefone, which fully meet our expectations. All 50 of our rooms are equipped with phones suitable for our guests, and the 12 lines available to our team feature professional phones that facilitate communication within our facility.
