Why did you switch to a new telephony solution? 

The switch was necessary because support for our old system had expired. At the same time, we knew that the transition from analog telephony to VoIP would have to happen sooner or later. 

Why did you choose Peoplefone and Suprag Solutions AG? 

Suprag Solutions has been our implementation and support partner for many years. The company assisted us in evaluating the solution. We chose Peoplefone because Suprag Solutions works frequently and very closely with the company. 

How did the transition go? 

The transition went smoothly. We conducted a very brief training session at the beginning. However, over the past few years, we’ve found that the solution is very intuitive to use, even for new employees. 

What were the challenges? 

As with any transition, it’s not just “plug and play.” We had some difficulties, especially at the beginning, with the internet connection and the firewall. The first month was particularly challenging; for example, we had a one-way audio issue at the start: we could hear our customers, but they couldn’t hear us. But in the end, it all worked out. 

How has the collaboration with Peoplefone and Suprag Solutions AG been? 

Suprag Solutions did a good job. The team members are always faced with a slightly different environment, depending on the existing IT infrastructure and environment into which the system needs to be integrated. We were always in direct contact with our points of contact and reported bugs on an ongoing basis. They were very systematic in troubleshooting and always helped us promptly. 

What is the biggest difference compared to the previous solution? 

One difference is certainly that we now operate a server located in a data center. The advantage of this is that, thanks to the hosting, we’re always accessible—even when internal changes, such as a move, are on the horizon. In addition, outsourcing the server ensures a higher level of security. 

Another great thing about 3CX compared to the other solution is that it’s constantly being developed, with regular updates and new features. Suprag Solutions always makes sure that customers are up to date.
