We’ve always been dissatisfied with the phone system. Although we had installed three desk phones, if one employee was on the phone, no other calls could be answered or made. This often cost us a lot of time. There were no automated features or convenience functions whatsoever. Furthermore, working from home could not be integrated into the phone system. 

The Solution from Xinfra 

The solution here was a flexible phone system—in this case, Peoplefone Hosted. A Yealink T48S was installed at the front desk. Its large touchscreen display makes it particularly easy and convenient to use. The three existing Yealink T46S phones were retained and integrated into the new system. 

Planning – Collaboration – Optimization – A Rewarding Project

The transition was planned in collaboration with us, and everything went according to plan in a short amount of time. The system has been working flawlessly since the start. We can now benefit from several conveniences, such as: 

- Multiple pre-programmed announcements, 

- On-call service is handled through the phone system, 

- Internal call transfers are now easy to make, 

- All employee numbers are stored centrally, 

The system can now be operated easily from a home office, so we are no longer tied to a specific location. 

We can now automatically set opening hours using a timer, and all other absences, vacations, or holidays can be activated with the push of a single button. The on-call phone is answered by the office during business hours, which takes some of the pressure off employees who are out and about during the day. The switch has been well worth it, and we can no longer imagine our daily routine without the additional services we’ve gained.
