Wädi-Brau-Huus

Wädi-Brau-Huus AG Installed by Hotz + Koch Informatik AG

How satisfied are you with your collaboration with the installation company Hotz+Koch Informatik AG?

It’s been a stroke of luck—and still is! We’ve been working together since early 2018, and I really have nothing but good things to say. It’s a great company with knowledgeable staff who always provide us with quick advice and support—both through remote maintenance and on-site here in Wädenswil. In addition to our phone system, all of our IT infrastructure is also managed by Hotz+Koch. I really appreciate having just one point of contact—it makes everything so much easier (laughs).

Since March 2022, Wädi-Brau-Huus AG has also been part of peoplefone’s client base. What’s your impression of the company?

Our partnership is still very new, so I can’t say much about it yet. Except perhaps that the switch to the new phone system went extremely smoothly and that the billing works perfectly.

Why did you choose peoplefone as your phone provider?

Until the end of 2020, our two locations were further apart, and we had two different phone systems. One for the restaurant and the brewery, which were already located on the Gessner Areal in Wädenswil, and one for the warehouse and offices, which were still in Au near Wädenswil at the time. Both phone systems were very old, which is why our former provider informed us that they would no longer be able to maintain the systems in the medium term. To prevent the phones from suddenly going offline, I contacted our representative at Hotz+Koch. He recommended peoplefone because his company had had good experiences with them. Together, we then looked into what kind of system would make the most sense for the Wädi-Brau-Huus.

We decided on a 3CX phone system. What were the reasons?

The main reason was that we wanted to switch from two systems to a single system serving both locations. And we were looking for a solution that would allow our employees to make landline calls even when working from home or on the go. Thanks to the app, they can even use their smartphones for this. Cost was also a factor: Although we had to buy new phones, the long-term costs are lower than with our previous provider.

How did the transition go? Did the employees notice any changes?

Yes, they were happy with the new phones (laughs). In my view, there’s nothing to complain about here either: Hotz+Koch prepared for the transition very well, so the installation was completed within a single morning. And our team received training immediately after the switch. So the whole process went off without a hitch.

Does the Wädi-Brau-Huus have any special requirements for its phone system?

No, not so far. That’s why we don’t need any complicated settings. But who knows—maybe that will change in the future!
